It's hard to tell isn't it. He looks like a pretty good and decent person. But you can't tell by looking on the outside, it's what on the inside that matters. The dictionary says to be good means to be morally excellent. To be good then, we would have to obey the Ten Commandments. Let's see if we have done that. Have you ever lied? What does that make you? A liar. Have you ever stolen something? What does that make you? A thief. Have you ever used the Lords name as a cuss word? What does that make you? A blasphemer. If God were to judge you by this standard would you be innocent or guilty on judgment day. If you're honest you will see that you'd be guilty and end up in Hell. So would the guy on the front of this card. But the good news is that God provided a way of escape. Romans 6:23 says that "the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Jesus died on the cross to pay the penalty for your sin.
